Dirty Questions for the First FUSE Press Conference

  1. How does this half-million degree hot gas halo differ from the "galactic corona" discovered by Savage and de Boer with IUE?

  2. How did you know that molecular hydrogen was the most abundant molecule in the universe if you couldn't see it before FUSE was launched?

  3. Hasn't molecular hydrogen already been observed by ISO?

  4. Is NASA's faster, better, cheaper strategy responsible for the problems and delays you've encountered in bringing FUSE online?
