This tool plots a pitch angle distribution through time for one particle channel.
The UT time is along the bottom axis, and the left axis is pitch angle. Flux is shown as color intensity. Black indicates there was no measurement.
Note that channels whose flux is measured over an entire spin (i.e., the flux values are not sectored) are not suitable for creating pitch angle plots. It is up to the user to know which channels are appropriate for use in pitch angle plots.
The number of angle bins should be selected by the user based on the number of angular measurements per 360 degrees for the channel of interest. The time bin width should be chosen to minimize the effects of including partial spins in each time bin.
