Using the MIDL Plotting Tools


This document describes how to use the main MIDL screen and each of the tools which can be launched from the main screen.

The main screen is the starting point. It show each mission whose data is available. For each mission, it shows the instruments whose data is available. Also, it allows browsing of summary images for the currently selected mission.


For first timeusers, you may want to read the Getting Started Guide which gives a brief overview of the main screen.
From the main screen, you may launch any of these six plotting tools:
  1. Particle Line Plot
  2. Interactive Particle Spectrum Plot
  3. Magnetic Field Line Plot
  4. Interactive Pitch Angle Plot
  5. Pitch Angle Spectrogram Plot
  6. Particle Energy Spectrogram Plot
