Mission Independent Data Layer

web-based software for accessing and analyzing space phsyics data

This site provides software and data for multi-mission, multi-instrument analysis in space physics. Several datasets are available, and the access software can be launched directly from the web.

To use the software, see the Launch Data Viewer link.

First time users may need to complete a few set-up steps on their computer before the software can be used. See the First Time Users link.

To learn more about the project, see the link About This Project.

Missions Available Types of Data Supported
Geotail energetic particles
ISEE-1 magnetic fields
ISEE-2 spacecraft location
AMPTE / CCE
IMP-8
Cassini (restricted access)

Note: This site was recently upgraded, and the ISEE-1, ISEE-2, and AMPTE/MEPA data are not yet available through the new site. These missions are available through the older version of the site, which is still available through this link.
