These are the helicity injection analysis of active regions from the present solar cycle 23, using the method of Chae, Astrophys. J, 2001. The observations are from the Michelson-Doppler Imager on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory spacecraft (SOHO/MDI). Additional regions will be added as more observations are analyzed.
New as of September 20, 2005: All the helicity values are corrected for systematic effects using the prescription of Pariat, DeMoulin, and Berger, Astron. Astrophys. 2005. The old images of helicity flux density form the basic Chae method, Ga, are replaced by the version corrected for spurious structures, Gtheta.
Class I regions
X-flares during measurement interval.
Class II regions
X-flares only outside measurement interval.
Class III regions
No X-flares.
